Hi! I’m Elena Krasnoperova.

In 2024, I wrapped up a 25+ year career in Tech – and I think I managed to squeeze 50 years’ worth of work into 25 calendar years! My career started and ended in Big Tech. After completing my Ph.D. from Stanford, I started my career at Microsoft by way of BCG. I ended it as a VP of Ads Analytics at Meta, where I led a world-class team of 1,500+ data scientists and data engineers who focused on optimizing and growing Meta’s $130B+ ads business. In between, I worked at eBay and PayPal, other people’s startups (Zong and oDesk), and built my own startups in the Family Tech space.

Now I’m living my best life and enjoying a portfolio career. I invest in, and advise, purpose-driven startups in Climate and Sustainability, Mental Health, Aging, and FemTech. And through the Women of Wisdom community, I help amazing, accomplished professional women find their “ikigai”: an intersection of what gives them joy, what they are great at, what the world needs, and what they can get paid for. I do it by hosting private, by-invitation-only, events. Our in-person events combine inspiring content, great food, and opportunities to build deep and meaningful connections with other amazing women of wisdom. And our virtual events are practical, hands-on workshops – usually hosted during a lunch break.

Who are Women of Wisdom?

• We are based in the San Francisco Bay Area (or travel there frequently)
• We have 20+ years of professional experience in the tech industry
• We may work full-time, have a portfolio career, run our own business, or be taking a career break
• We have accomplished a lot but are not “done” making an impact
• We are on a journey to live a life of ikigai
